People were not ready for these dogs. I don’t know what the adoption process was, but this is suspect. And there’s a lot of news that a lot of of them are already being returned because everyone went in on the story, but when the reality of having a dog came in… And abused Animal… Suddenly it wasn’t so fun poor guy

We need help!! RUSHED TO VET and not doing well at all: Oscar, our long time since we started this, street king aka Mayor of Central Harlem Cat King, has stopped grooming, is unable to eat, and is looking very thin.
Some may remember back in August 2024 the many days of trying to trap Oscar. It was triumphant when we finally got him. Oscar has been around for a long time and he is a strong survivor. In the video above from May 20, it is the first time that he has ever taken churu or anyone has been that close to him. He’s always been tolerant of humans, but he must not be feeling good if he let someone get that close.

Oscar is in our CATNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM outside of NYC because he was at high risk outdoor. While we have been working on getting rescue accounts for affordable care in CT- he needs help NOW. NYC is not doable as vet option at moment

Today will be at least 250/300 and if he needs full dental (LIKELY) it will be thousands.

This guy has survived in the streets, of Harlem for so long and he is finally getting his rest. We need to help him now.

Oscar is famous to many rescuers in our area. We must not fail him now!
