As a travel agent I try to help my clients be prepared. Typically I am a prepared person myself, at least I try! 😊The last few day I have started pack for our upcoming Alaska trip. 🧳 Yesterday I went to get my winter boots🥾 from the utility closet to put with my packing pile and decide to trial fit just to make sure they were ok. I had just worn them this past winter, as recently as March. As I started walking down the hall I wondered what was all over the floor and as I looked around I realized it was my boots! 😲They had dry rotted since March and were falling apart all over my floors! Now imagine my distress as I was struggling to find waterproof insulted hiking boots in Indiana in June! Thanks to our local shoe store Hertz Shoes downtown I was able to find a great pair of waterproof hiking shoes for my trip last night! Now to break them in before we leave! Guess I should prepare even a little more in advance next time! ☺️

So I thought I would start making some posts about trips I have planned to give everyone an idea about what’s possible! To respect the privacy of my clients I won’t post names or dates but if you see your trip posted and you’d like to jump in feel free to comment or add photos or videos!!
I booked a couple on their very first cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas sailing from Port Canaveral in Florida. The only nice thing about this cruise for a first cruise was that it is typically a 3 or 4 night itinerary so it is a great chance to try it out to see if a cruise is the type of trip for you! Also since it is in Orlando it can be a nice add on to a theme parks vacation.
