This afternoon A-Shift with Engine 6, Car 1 and Car 2 responded to Thetford for a third alarm building fire. The engine provided a water supply while the crew conducted fire attack.

Congratulations to FF Garrett Rumrill for successfully completing his probationary year and earning his black shield! FF Rumrill is pictured with Captain Emerson and his father, Claremont Call Captain Roger Rumrill.

The Hanover Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of retired Captain Jon Whitcomb. Captain Whitcomb dedicated most of his life to the fire service and the community he served. The family is planning a remembrance of life for July 12th with more information to come. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with the entire Whitcomb family.
