💰 TRAVIS POV 💰

Travis did not sleep well that night in the suite he'd reserved specially for himself as he didn't want to go and had ordered to be bought here maybe that would take his mind off what transpired nothing as he just couldn't stop thinking of that man he seems so shock to his bone to see.

He had never in his wild imagination think of seeing him, he just want to forget about ever seeing him today so his mind could get settled as it seems not to be.

The suite was his latear multi dollar acquisition which he had spent more than to achieve it.

He lay sleepless, gazing at the shadowed ceiling, one arm crooked behind his head, feeling a mix of restlessness and unsatisfaction and anticipation.

He just wondered where Melinda might be?

Why does she have to runaway from him?

He felt a pang of anger as he thought of her.

He could kill her straight for ever trying to excape from him like he's some kind of devil beside he's her husband and should be obeyed not for her to disrespect him by leaving.

He was sure going to find her and get her back with immediate effect.

Even though he never liked her but he greatly admire her as she was matured, highly intelligent who tried to make decision and rebuke him when she feel he's wrong in her own unpredictable way despite knowing he could kill her for that but she's just so courageous to notice.

He could still remember what kissing her feels like?

That kiss had been like he was dipping his finger into a pot of honey to be taste the sweetness and at times he knew she found it pleasurable when he kiss her.

Though at times she seems irritated.

He could still remember the jealously in her eyes the day she saw him with his secretary on the bed making love which she had purposely opened the door slightly for he knew she may come to check what's the noise all about.

Even though she his her jealousy so well but he knew she was jealous and could see it in her eyes without being told.

She has suddenly become part of Hus life, this instinctive, overriding diversion with her had blazed across his path like it was over.

Then he closed his eyes as imaginations flowed into his memories.

He was with Melinda as he turned a switch and the lights dimmed. He pressed her backwards against a wall and his hungry lips found hers.

Hus shirt and jacket hit the floor as his attention were turned to her, leaning over as he kissed her ear, alternately nipping down her throat until he returned to her mouth, his tongue filling the deep recesses until she couldn't suppress a moan that emerged from deep in her throat.

Then she was in his arms as he carried her to his bedroom, his long strides eating up when he had put her down, the silken sheets of the bed felt cool against her back as he dispose her panties then he was hovering about her, directing her lips to his in the darkness.

He continued to kiss his way down her boby, nipping at her throat, sucking first one bre*St then the other, playing with the stiff peaks, teasing until she screamed then he suckled her rosy tips as he moved farther down, as he had an intent of tasting her.

He pushed her legs apart claiming her forever as she opened to him without any rational thought as he entered her but a man came in and stopped him only for him to see.....

Travis je**ed out immediately as he was breathing fast, his clothes already soaked with sweat despite the AC being on.

Gosh, why was the face of this man haunting him like hell?

He took his phone and saw it was still midnight and now he no longer felt like sleeping as he hurried out of the bed with his two phones on his hand.

He sat on the study table as he thought of checking some files only for him to remember he has a contract with Julia's James which he haven't respond to or check due to the stress of looking for Melinda.

He would make sure he gets her as something in his heart tells him she isn't far away.

MELINDA POV

Thankfully grateful to Nora for making her feel at her home.

After she was done bathing, Nora had helped her rub the herbs she had bought for her on her injuries even though at was painful at first but she feels a little bit relieved after applying those herbs.

Beside nothing could be as painful as Travis himself.

She just wonder how he would be taking the news of her disappearance but anyway so happy she's free from him.

Nora had given her one of her old dress to change to and she feels so comfortable on them as it was kinda free, allowing the cool breeze touch her.

She hurried the food nora gave to her like she haven't eaten for days as she's just so hungry.

She had quite starve herself cause of Travis punishment which made her not to realise what was food.

She felt her tummy turn slightly as she drank the cup of water only for it to worsten it as she rushed out almost immediately to puke almost all the food she had eaten.

Damn, she wasted the sweet meal.

" Are you okay " she heard Nora say behind her almost startling her as she collected the cup with water, cleaning her face as she nod her head.

She just don't understand how she's feeling inside anymore.

",Are you sure, come let's go in" Nora said clasping her left hand into hers as they walked back into the room.

She lay on the bed slowly as she felt so tired and more dizzy now.

" When last did you see your period"

Gosh

That question took her off as she wasn't expecting to be asked such type of question.

Why was she asking her that?

She closed her eyes trying to figure out when last she saw her period as she had always been able to remember dates whenever she does her period but surprising she didn't remember anymore and that's because......

She never did.

Melinda opened her eyes, trying to be calm as fear shook in her as she hoped deeply in her it wasn't true.

She can never be carrying that devil's child in her.

No, not now when she wants to gain her freedom.

" I can't remember" she simply said.

"Am sure you're carrying a child"

Yes!!

That was she never want to hear and now she heard it?

Gosh, she wished he used protection to sleep with her, she really wished he did.

Now she's carrying Travis baby.

She breathed in deeply as she turned away from nora piercing eyes facing the other side as she felt tears flow down easily.

Why do God hate her so much ?

How could she be pregnant?

Why?

Melinda asked herself but no answer was forth coming.

She knows deep inside her that she doesn't want his child in her as she wouldn't want to have a child who would turn out to be like him.

" What am I gonna do now, I can't have his baby, not now" melinda asked herself.

She had never imagined that his seed was growing inside her, never !
