Microtransit is transforming mobility options in Hampton Roads, thanks to Hampton Roads Transit’s OnDemand Rideshare service. OnDemand works like any other ridesharing but operates in designated zones, filling gaps where fixed-route service is limited, for just $2 one way. McCall Huston, regional general manager with Via Transportation, HRT's ridesharing partner, drops by to tell us how this service, known as microtransit, works and what the future holds.
