The reminder we needed to keep on keeping on 🐜🐜🐜

This post is long overdue, but, ya know, life! And I know it’s warm in Georgia today, so you may have already forgotten it was in the 20 degree range for several weeks (that’s hella cold for us in the South, btw) and how NEEDED warm weather accessories were, but:
We wanted to take a second to say a special THANK YOU to LCH Concrete and Restoration for their generous support of Angry Ants during our Keep Folks Warm campaign.
Because of their contribution, we were able to supply hat & glove sets for about 60 adults, 48 kiddos, 30 toddlers & 38 babies (really more like 19 babies because we gave them all two sets because babies be messy 😅)
It’s because of small local businesses like LCH and mountains of individual “Angry Ants” working together that we’re able to keep doing the work we do here and we could not be more grateful for your ongoing support. All of it matters!

Okay I LOVE this energy. So may of us are not content unless we’re in the “spotlight”, but there is no spotlight without someone directing the spotlight.
This is where I want to be. Holding the door and THRILLED to be there 😻
Fake it til you make it, amirite?
Real talk: there’s a delicate tightrope walk I’m constantly doing to keep from falling to one side or the other because neither is truly helpful.
On the one hand, I don’t want to bury my head in the sand and pretend that the world isn’t the way it is; on the other- if I spend too much time thinking about that, I’ll lose all hope and just do nothing.
So some days it does help to sway a bit more toward the side of toxic positive delusion because honestly? It’s a lot easier to course correct from there 😅
So if you need me, I’ll be seeking out the joy in every day because I *HAVE* to 🤷🏼♀️
