I really want yall to stop letting people use a cheese grater or foot blade on yall feet. Reasons why you shouldn’t use them…

1. It’s illegal or banned in most states.

•It takes a layer of your skin off
•Can cause damages and injury
•Can cause infection

2. The callus that you so dearly want removed is there for your protection, it’s where you distribute all your weight. Hints why it should be softened not removed.

3. The dry/cracked skin you also try to scrap away is due to not moisturizing properly, dehydration, age, health issues, location of where you live, amongst a list of other things.

•Moisturize your body daily, especially right after a shower/bath put on cotton sock directly after to help trap moisture in. Use products that have UREA in it.
•DRINK WATER DAILY

4. Peeling feet due to excessive sweating, not rotating your shoes out daily.

•Those work boots, favorite sneakers, even sandals you grab to put on your feet everyday need a 24hr window to air out and fully dry before you wear them again.
•Excessive sweating wear white cotton socks.

I implore you all to stop being okay with the bare minimum when it comes to taking care of yourself, including your feet. Especially you all with health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, blood thinning medication, etc.
