Missing Child

A missing child is any person under 18 whose whereabouts are unknown to their parent or legal guardian.
This is a broad category and can include many situations, such as:
• Abduction (by a stranger or a family member)
• Lost or injured
• Kidnapped or trafficked
• Runaways (yes, runaways still count as missing children)

👉 Key point: All runaways are missing children, but not all missing children are runaways.

If a child’s whereabouts are unknown, they are missing—period.
The label “runaway” does not mean less serious or less urgent.

As we prepare for our October event in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month we are in need of the following items for purses:

New or gently used purses
Sanitary pads and tampons
Body wash/ soap
Mirrors
Lotion
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Wipes
Make up items
Mirrors
