Blood on the Doorpost: The Salvation Analogy
Have you excepted Jesus as your Savior? Pray this payer

The cross was not a tragedy.
It was not something that went wrong.
It was not a moment God had to recover from.
It was the most intentional act in human history.
Every nail.
Every word.
Every moment of darkness.
And it ended with a declaration:
Tetelestai. It is finished.
Not “it is almost done.”
Not “I did my part, now you do yours.”
Finished.
The debt — paid.
The curse — broken.
The separation — removed.
The access — opened.
He didn’t leave you anything to complete.
He finished it.
And before He said “It is finished”…
He said:
“Father, forgive them.”
While they were still doing it.
While the nails were still going in.
While the mocking hadn’t stopped.
That is not love that waits for you to get it right.
That is love that covers you while you don’t even understand what you’ve done.
The veil was torn.
Not from the bottom — from the top.
God tore it Himself.
The way in is open.
You are not separated.
You are not shut out.
You are not working your way back.
You walk in — through Jesus.
And that word still stands today:
Tetelestai. Paid in full.
Not partially. Not eventually.
Fully.
This Good Friday, don’t just remember the cross.
Understand what was finished there.

It Is Finished He didn't die wondering if it was enough. He declared it done.

He knew the crowd would turn…
and He came anyway.
Palm Sunday was not a moment of celebration that caught Jesus off guard.
It was a decision.
He knew who would shout “Hosanna.”
He knew who would later shout “Crucify Him.”
He knew the betrayal, the denial, the silence… and the cross waiting at the end of the week.
And He still got on the donkey.
That’s what wrecks me about this.
This wasn’t reactive love.
This was covenant love — already decided.
“He rode in because of what the week held.”
The same voices that praised Him would turn.
The same city that welcomed Him would reject Him.
And He came anyway.
That’s the kind of love that enters your life too.
Not based on your consistency.
Not based on your understanding.
Not based on your response.
But because He already decided.
“Behold, your King is coming to you… humble and mounted on a donkey.”
