Dear guests,
The staff has been working extremely hard ever since COVID began on March 2020. The crew has been short staffed for two years due to lack of interest in employment opportunities from the unemployed. We have only had two steady housekeepers trying to clean 100 rooms by themselves essentially. That makes it extremely difficult to have them ready for 4pm check in but they somehow get it done. The General Manager and maintenance personnel also steps in to help the housekeeping team regularly to get the tasks completed.
The hotel has been a constant nightly sell out since Hurricane Ida so maintenance personnel has not been able to get into every room as much as usual to do cosmetic repairs that are needed. We hope he will be able to do so more regularly as before soon.
We appreciate all your business and support and hope this statement will help with understanding all the efforts the hardworking staff makes daily. Please be kind to them……
