Our sweet Cole has been at Children’s in New Orleans since Tuesday night. After spending Tuesday night in the ER, Wednesday morning he went into surgery to have his appendix removed. Unfortunately they saw that it was perforated and leaking out already. We had high hopes of getting to come home today but unfortunately he was not able to hold down his food after being only on a liquid diet since Monday, and had a fever come on last night as well. We have the best doctors and nurses take care of him! This wasn’t how we had imagined spending his last week of being 2, but he sure is a strong boy💙 his spirits have dropped but we are doing everything we can to keep him distracted from the very obvious pain, and not being home. We are keeping him as comfortable as possible and happy so his little body can heal 🫶 The staff here has been absolutely incredible to us all, my heart knows we are in the best place to get our boy healthy again 💪
As soon as we get home everyone will be added back on schedules as normal. Thank you to all our amazing customers who have reached out, and been so understanding, and sending all the prayers our way🙏❤️
