Life update:

It’s crazy and I’m going crazy haha 🤣

We’ve had quite the jam packed spring and summer and quiet honestly, it’s not slowing down any time soon so I better just learn to enjoy the ride!

In the last few weeks we…
- ended baseball season
- went to the Reds game
- photographed a gala
- started theater for the big kids
- took and delivered family mini sessions
- got our own family photos taken
- opened the pool
- went to see the Savannah Bananas

Not to mention day to day life in all of the “down” time.

And now we’re packing to go out of town and we’ll be back just in time for the craziness of 4th of July weekend 😅

Somehow I fit some work in everyday and somehow the house hasn’t collapsed (though it’s far from clean). The kids are caught up on their summer school books and everyone is having fun this summer, so I’m focusing on my wins.

Just keeping things real over here! I hope you’re having just as much fun as we are this summer but maybe with a little less chaos 🫶🏻⛱️😎🍉

There’s just something so sweet about walking down the aisle after your Catholic wedding ceremony and then finding a little spot out of sight from your guests to share your first moments together as Mr. + Mrs. 🥹

It’s something I wish my husband and I had done because all we wanted to do was talk to each other, but we got stopped about 17 times to be congratulated before it was time to take photos and move on with the day.

So I highly encourage you to find that hiding spot. 🤍 I’ll be there for a few moments to capture a few photos from far enough away that I can’t hear what you’re saying 😉 and then I’ll leave you be! (Or just tell me to leave you completely alone—that’s fine, too!)

You’ll never get those 10 minutes back, so cherish them and hold onto them before the day picks up again.
And if you don’t get them right after the ceremony, grab them in the car on the way to the reception, in a private getting-ready room at your reception venue, or even in an adoration chapel. Those quiet moments together on your wedding day are so worth protecting. 🤍
