We've all been through this exact moment... 😂

Sorry about the lack of updates, things have been rough with winter not wanting to leave us, and then shortly after that my best friend and his wife were on their bike, when a car ran a stop sign, and they t-boned him at about 60ish. It's been over a month, and they're still in the hospital. They were in horrible shape, and are now in really bad shape, but there are a lot of good signs finally. So between running their kids around, making sure their house is ok, and visiting them in the hospital, free time has been a couple hours here and there. I started a rear bumper on my truck before winter came back, and finally have enough done that it's worthy of posting! So without further ado, here's most of what I have done so far. I added a couple more pieces since I took pictures, so I'll try to upload those later today, or possibly tomorrow.

Have been working on a few things lately, finally have enough to be worth posting! Been really busy the last month, my best friend and his wife were taken out on their bike, and were in horrible shape, but things have been looking up. So that's occupied most of my time recently. But the weather's nice, and I have at least a couple bumpers lined up right now. I'm building a rear bumper for my 4runner, which will end up with a tire carrier, with jerry cans on each side, and a rear bumper for a 98ish Chevy 1 ton.
Here you'll see most of the progress on my back bumper, and I found pictures of my truck when I first looked at it, after it was smashed into the wall, before I did any repairs.
I'm going to organize and repost everything from my computer, needed to upload them from my phone first.

Picked up a 10" Woodward Fab throatless shear yesterday, along with enough 3/16 steel to build 3-4 bumpers! Had the shear clamped to my work bench, but I couldn't get any real power on it with the bar nearly as high as I could reach. So I picked up a hammer drill/impact driver combo, a cement drill bit, and anchors and it's bolted to the floor in my shed. Experimenting begins! Much more to come! Rear bumper for my 4runner, front bumper on a f150, and mods to the shear so my scrawny ass can cut with it more easily.
