Thanks to your help and support, we raised over $5,300!! That amount will fund a family of 4 with shelter for 90 days, enabling them to utilize services that will aid them in securing stable employment and permanent housing. How's that for making an impact? YOU ALL ARE THE BEST! ๐๐๐

Two weeks ago, BMHA hosted our 2026 Winter Leadership Summit, bringing together emerging and current leaders from across our organization for three days of learning, reflection, and collaboration.
As our organization continues to grow, we know that developing strong leaders is essential to serving our residents and community well. Thatโs why we invested in this leadership experience led by Dr. Sidney Childs, founder of The Yendis Group, whose work focuses on helping organizations build people-centered systems and lead through change.
Throughout the summit, our management team worked through real-world scenarios focused on communication, conflict management, leadership transitions, and navigating change โ all with the goal of strengthening how we support one another and the residents we serve.
At BMHA, we believe that housing is foundational to economic mobility. Developing strong leaders ensures that the systems supporting our residents are thoughtful, responsive, and built for long-term success. By investing in our people, we are investing in the future of the communities we serve.

As 2025 came to a close, Butler Metropolitan Housing Authority gathered for our first Jingle Jam, an evening rooted in appreciation, reflection, and community.
At its heart, Jingle Jam was about recognizing our BMHA staff. Their dedication and care for residents are the driving force behind everything we do. Through their daily work, they continue to support families, strengthen neighborhoods, and help build stable communities across Butler County. We were proud to take a moment to celebrate the impact they have made, not just at the end of the year, but every day.
As part of the evening, BMHA also had the honor of recognizing and donating to local food shelf organizations whose work ensures our neighbors have access to one of lifeโs most basic needs, food. Their service and compassion align deeply with our mission to help our communities thrive. We extend our sincere thanks to Shared Harvest Foodbank, New Life Mission, The Village Food Pantry, Fairfield Food Pantry - Ohio, Enabled Ministries of Grace Baptist Church - Middletown, Ohio, and The Open Door Food Pantry for the vital role they play in caring for our neighbors throughout Butler County.
The evening also brought together community and civic leaders, including Middletown Mayor Slamka, Hamilton Mayor Moeller, and more partners who share our commitment to local progress. We extend a special thank you to Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce's President & CEO, Dan Bates for serving as our emcee and helping guide an evening centered on partnership, progress, and purpose.
At BMHA, housing is just one part of building strong communities. When we invest in people, support one another, and work alongside trusted partners, meaningful impact follows, and Jingle Jam was a reflection of that shared commitment. We look forward to continuing the mission of our organization and serving the community of Butler County.
