Happy Happy Birthday to Cheval Slow Ginn Fizz. It’s this golden girls golden birthday. This sweet mare is 2️⃣7️⃣ today! She’s had quite the life. She lived on the Little King farm for 12 years where she produced show foals by Boones Little Buckeroo. She spent 6 years after that at Danielle Hills. I was lucky enough to find her at a special miniature horse auction in PN. Of course I didn’t bring a trailer, but sometimes your heart knows what you need. Danielle was kind enough to bring her to Little King so I could pick her up closer to home. She was in foal, and produced a filly the next Spring. April must take after her Sire, as she is hell on wheels. I retired Fizzy, but April (who sneaks everywhere we are) is due with her second foal this spring. This mare is special, and came into my life when God knew I needed her. 🩷 She’s at her last stop, when her time comes she’ll be buried wherever I am. Love you Fizzy!

Our 3rd foal… another C**T! April foaled today just before noon after I stayed up nearly all night. She’s a first time Momma, and she’s caring for her baby just fine. She’s not, however, caring for people just fine. She prefers we be nowhere near at the moment.

The rain makes everything muddy, but it also makes beautiful rainbows. Thankful for the wonderful weather we had this past weekend.
