This week has been incredibly difficult. Between our primary veterinarian and the emergency vet, we've accumulated over $2,100 in veterinary bills.

Right now, we still owe just over $1,000 at Jimbabwe Acres, and we already have several cats there again today.

One of those cats is Slash, whose neuter incision opened. He now has to be sedated so the incision can be cleaned and stitched back up.

As if that wasn't enough, one of our fosters contacted us about Miles. He has become jaundiced, which is extremely concerning, and he needs to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. We simply don't have the funds, but we can't wait when a cat's life may be on the line.

Some weeks it feels like the emergencies never stop, but we refuse to give up on these cats. They deserve every chance we can give them.
