When in the forest, don't forget to look down. The mushroom appears to prop up the sapling, 'princess pine', which is only about two to three inches tall. I set the camera to utilize the computional technology High Res feature, Tripod mode. This camera censor moves 8 times when set to Tripod Mode. The base exposure was 5 seconds for a total of 40 seconds to create this image. Enjoy!

Does this fly have a death wish? Looks to me the Stable Fly isn't too stable flying in front of the American Sand Wasp! I guess in nature taking risks is part of life.
