Automotive7 is looking for a Office Assistant to join our expanding team. As the receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
Duties Include (but not limited to):
Greet and welcome clients/customers as they arrive
Answer and screen phone calls
Scheduling appointments via phone and email
Provide information on services to clients
Covid-19 protocols
Other clerical duties as needed
Preferred Skills:
bilingual: Must speak Spanish
Automotive experience, related vehicles and parts is a PLUS.
Work experience as a Receptionist or Scheduling Experience
Good Interpersonal Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs/Drive
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. scanners and printers)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Social Media Skills (Hootsuite proficiency is a plus!)
Salary $17 an hr plus commission.
We Are Hiring! - Tow Truck Operators 🛻
Looking to hire experienced tow truck operators to join the Automotive 7 Towing Company. We will require you to operate one of our company vehicles, assisting our clients with breakdowns and accidents. Your duties will include driving to the site of the breakdown or accident, and towing the vehicle back to the facility or as indicated by the office. Ultimately, a top-class tow truck operator provides a helpful and professional service for all clients.
Responsibilities Include:
- Receiving communications from company dispatcher.
- Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
- Interacting with the customer to find out the nature of the problem.
- Jump-starting vehicles, providing lock-outs service, fuel service and reconnecting vehicle parts.
- Suggesting a course of action.
- Connecting the damaged vehicle to the truck with a chain, winch or steering block.
- Towing the vehicle to back to the company facility or as indicated by office/dispatcher.
- Reporting to base and completing paperwork.
- Organizing vehicles at the shop.
Tow Truck Operator Requirements:
- Experience with automotive maintenance and repairs.�
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Valid Health Card.
- Good communication skills
Schedule:
* 12 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
Night shift
* On call
* Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
* Commission pay
* Tips
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Hamden, CT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
