All profits from cookie sales will be donated to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 231 to support local veteran programs and services.

The red poppy became a symbol of remembrance following World War I after the poem In Flanders Fields honored the poppies that grew on battlefields where soldiers had fallen. Today, the poppy serves as a tribute to those who gave their lives in service to our country and a reminder to support the veterans who continue to serve our communities.
