If you missed the Blueberry Festival today, there’s still time tomorrow to go take your chance on the basket I donated.
The library is extra special to me, memories of going when my Great Aunt Marion Baker was head librarian and being in children’s room and going into her office, not being able to reach top of desk to check out my books. When my mom started working their she was assistant in the Bookmobile Division. As a young adult/teen being taught how to repair books and Volunteering by doing mending, shelving, doing whatever was needed to help. Kathi Welch and I and my sister JoLyne and I were Bert and Ernie at the blueberry festival many years ago.
Then add in my Grandma was assistant librarian at the high school, and yes I volunteered there too, I loved to go in and help cover new books and get sneak peeks at all the new books. Truly love books and still do!
So I do a little bit more for the library in memory of Great Aunt Marion and my mom!

Happy to donate a Basket to the Silver Lake Community Park for the carnival they are having tomorrow, Saturday July 9th from 1-5 pm. Stop on over and help them to help with expenses for this park.

Reminds me of the concept of the braids, wreaths etc we did when I (Lisa McVaugh) first started with Pampered Chef many moons ago.
I took if I’m remembering right, a recipe Darlene VanKuren Smith found in a magazine and I redid using all my PC products with a new to me braid filling and it was so good.
I love taking recipes you use at home and incorporating or show what I’d use from my PC products to make it. Like, my mommas Banana Bread cooks wonderful in our stoneware bread pans.
