From the rich history of the Chesapeake Bay Area and along the to all the places you can go out and recreate today!

The Trail focuses on the places in the Bay that played a role during the Chesapeake Campaign in the War of 1812, leading up to the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner. We aim to tell the well rounded stories in history because it is important and it connects to today. The Bay has changed a lot since the War of 1812 because of that we provide information about the environment and ecology of the Bay, then vs now.
