Some footage I captured during the for Otto over the last couple of days. Otto has been found safe and is back home! Several drone were used in the effort to bring him back.

Update 12:55 Tuesday: Otto has been found safe and reunited with his family!

Update on Otto, the missing 🐶 in Hadley, MA. He is still being spotted in the same general area, with multiple confirmed sightings by camera and calls.

Otto is hanging out in the woods between Venture Way, North Maple St, and Rt 9.

We searched with drones and volunteers on foot for much of the day yesterday, but those woods are incredibly thick. The search continued late into the night and continues today.

Today I will be flying my 500th flight as a Part 107 Drone Pilot!

I am proud to say Firefly Drones has a spotless safety record, with zero accidents. Safety is always my number one priority.

(I did knock my iPad off the table and shatter the screen last year, but that doesn’t count as a incident 😅)

⚠️ Update: Otto has been found and returned home safely!

Lost dog 🐕

This morning, I will be continuing to help in the search for Otto, the lost German Mallinois in Hadley. He was seen last night in the vicinity of the Comfort in on Rt 9.

When Hadley Fire Department first contacted me the other day, I didn’t realize I was looking for a dog who belongs to a good friend (they don’t live in Hadley), so this one is personal.

Please keep an eye out for Otto. Let’s get him home safely!

This afternoon while returning from another job, I got a call from the Hadley Fire Department asking if I could help search for a missing dog near the Hadley Mall. A German Malinois had run from its car towards the to the east of the mall.

I arrived a short time later and was able to search the fields, water, and solar panels. Unfortunately, there was no sign of the dog. He is believed to either be hiding in the thick woods or possibly following the nearby bike path.

Please keep an eye out if you are in the area.
