It’s hard to believe this is the same little dog.

Not long ago, Bruce’s world was a tiny kennel with very little comfort, very little attention, and very little hope. Today, he’s learning what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and loved.

This handsome 3-year-old Terrier mix has made amazing progress and is discovering that life can be pretty wonderful. While he’s still building confidence with new people—especially men—he gets a little braver every single day.

Bruce is sweet, gentle, and just waiting for someone who will cheer him on as he continues to blossom. We know his best days are still ahead!

Bruce is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, so he’ll need a local adopter to complete his remaining vet visits.
