Yesterday, we held our 20th annual Jumpathon For St. Jude Children's Hospital in our indoor arena. Over 30 GRS riders participated, and pledges are in for over $5,000.00, all of it donated to the charity. Normally, St. Jude sponsors a Saddle Up program, but it is a trail ride. Jill Walter-Robinson, co-owner, invented the Jumpathon as a way for kids to collect pledges for their equestrian performance. Thank you all for a great day. We are looking for an experienced riding instructor to teach on Saturday afternoons. Should be comfortable teaching group lessons, mostly kids. Our school horses are safe and quiet, and you'll have a support staff to make your job easier. Pay is $25.00 per hour.
