Totally not me recording. 👀 Ok ok, you caught me!! HOWEVER this wasn't staged. Ok, well this particular video was, but only after she actually said all of this and was telling her friends and family!

Here's the tea, Sam (Diva in video) hired us for her hair and makeup for her wedding two years ago (such a blast!) this year we works with her family again for her in-laws wedding and Sam was telling everyone the same thing she repeated in this video! It was so sweet. And made me feel so happy because we always want our brides and all clients fore happy and beautiful for their big day!

Unfortunately, I did not get the opportunity to glam Sam's beautiful face for this particular event/video (new mom probs) but her hair was styled by Marissa because apparently Sam can not use a curling iron to save her life. 🤣 (her words not mine)

Anyway we had a wonderful time with this family again. We love and adore them so much. Some of the coolest people in the world!

→ Why do I wear gloves during skincare treatments?
I have more than just a few reasons. So, I am glad you asked! Due to limited character count, I'll keep it brief and touch on the MAIN points......
First, if your esthie bestie is NOT wearing gloves during your procedure..... 🚩
We are working with your LARGEST bodily organ. That means not only are we susceptible to things that you may carry and not even know you are carrying (I.e, staph bacterias/MRSA, HPV (warts), herpes viruses (there are tons of strands and subtypes- did you know you can have herpes sores appear along your fingertips? Look it up for yourself: Herpetic Whitlow) along with other various other infections, contagious skin conditions etc.) but it also protects you from things that your esthetician may not even know is on his/her hands. Personally, I enjoy my acrylic nails. I could scrub them with all my might, but nails always harbor bacteria. Gloves are an essential part of a professional skincare service. We con in contact with broken/open skin, acne and other diets and debris on your skin, our job is to help you clean these areas out and rebuild your skin barrier. How could we possibly do that if we aren't even doing step 1 of property safety measures? 🤔
→ Conclusion: I will continue to wear gloves in my practice for not only my protection, but the protection of each of my clients. ✨

I took me a while to post this video because I wanted to send a very clear message and I needed the right time to figure out my words. First though, thank you to our model for going with the vibe so well for this! Perfect model for this look! 👏🏼

In August 2025 we got to be apart of the Vibe After Five Fashion Show. Audrey asked me to create looks that were out of the box & very high end fashion inspired. You know? The fashion shows for luxury brands that have people hanging off the model as accessories? And balloon outfits? The fashion shows that make you go..... what the hellyyyy? But it's memorable? Ya. Like that.

I knew instantly I wanted to do a diamond inspired look. I wanted a clean makeup look that didn't interfere with the dramatics of the diamond look. I wanted our model to look like she was dripping in diamonds. Because diamonds are a symbol of being unbreakable. How diamonds are formed is intense. We can all agree that life really will humble you and so many forces around us try to crush us. This was testament to anyone who has felt this pain and managed to come out of it stronger and even more secure in who they are. You are the diamond.

I spent days and hours figuring out this look, buying pieces and scraping them. I designed the gloves, sewed and glued each stone. And I even had Marissa work on a memorable headpiece, which we scrapped more than once before deciding on its final form.

Our goal for all our models, especially this one, was to make a statement and a memorable moment that had people deeply thinking about the art itself.

Everything I do, I do with deep purpose and as symbolism for something much more complex and important than just "beauty".

Some of you may have missed the details in this look, but thanks to we were able to capture some of its essence to share with you all here 🩶
