What a morning on the farm! From the first runner to the final finisher, you all brought the energy, even with the brisk temperatures. Farm Races 2026 was our most impact-driven race yet: every registration planted a tree and helped protect the Palatlakaha River Blueway. 🌳

📣 It's almost time to race! To make sure you're ready here’s what you need to know about packet pick-up:

- Friday, January 30 from 1 - 6 PM packet pick-up will be at in Downtown Clermont.

Pick up your packet Friday for a chance to win a pair of running shoes from Dash Sports - winner will be announced at the race.

- Sat, January 31 (Day of) from 6:45 - 7:45 AM packet pick-up will be at Cherrylake.

🚲 Duathlon participants must have USAT year membership or purchase a one-day membership and pick up their own packet. 5k and 10k may pick up other racer’s packets.

The Farm Races 2026 medal has officially arrived, and we’re thrilled to share the story it was designed to tell.

The ribbon depicts the intertwining waterway of the Palatlakaha River, a living thread that weaves through our community, flowing from Lake Louisa to the St. Johns River and onward to the Atlantic Ocean. Spanning more than 18 miles of navigable waterways, this Blueway is home to otters, egrets, and a rich tapestry of native species, while also serving as a vital filtration system for the Ocklawaha River Watershed. Unique to Groveland, it’s where nature, recreation, and community flow together in harmony.

Increasing development pressures threaten this delicate balance. This year, Farm Races is donating a portion of every registration to help protect the Blueway and ensure its health for generations to come.
