Grottoes Community Pool

Due to staffing constraints, the pool will be closed to the public on the following dates (starting tomorrow).

Tuesday - Thursday, 7/21-7/23
Monday, 7/27
Friday, 7/31
Monday, 8/3
Thursday & Friday, 8/6 & 8/7

After this, the pool will resume normal scheduling of weekends only through the end of the season on Labor Day weekend.

Big shout out to the pool staff of 2026!!! They've done an exceptional job. Wish them luck as they move on to college or senior year of high school!!

Safety is our 1st priority. Due to thunderstorms throughout the afternoon the pool will be closed for the remainder of the day.

Due to the weather the pool will have a delayed opening at 2:30 PM today.

Due to the chilly temperatures, our community pool will remain closed tomorrow, 5/23. 🥶 But don’t worry—plans are still on track! The pool will be open this Sunday 5/24 and Monday 5/25 as scheduled. 🏊‍♂️💦

We love seeing everyone enjoying the Grottoes Pool at Grand Caverns Park! ☀️ 💦 Because we get a lot of great questions about how it all works, we wanted to share a quick reminder of who does what to keep our favorite community asset thriving​.

The Grottoes Pool Preservation Foundation (GPPF): We are a 501c3 non-profit group of volunteers and neighbors. Our mission is preservation and enhancement. Thanks to your incredible support at our fundraisers and events, we raise the capital for major upgrades—like funding leak repairs, providing new pool furniture, contributing towards a new deck, and updating fencing. We are here to ensure the pool survives and thrives for generations to come!

​Grand Caverns & The Town of Grottoes: They are the amazing team behind the daily operations. The Town owns and manages Grand Caverns and the pool, sets the hours, hires the lifeguards, and sells the season passes/daily admission tickets at the Grand Caverns lodge.
