Wait… Grasso Tech students built the torch for a 250-year celebration of freedom?

From the classroom to a historic community event, Grasso Tech students proudly designed and created the ceremonial torch featured in the Veterans Torch Relay during the Fire & Freedom Festival.

As veterans carry the flame from Fort Griswold to the Inn at Mystic, our students’ craftsmanship becomes part of a powerful tribute to service, sacrifice, and American history.
