You've heard reviews about how wonderful Dundee's newest spot is, Duck Duck Bottle Shop. And it's true. But now it's time for a review from their trash man, who sees what's going on in the cans behind the fence ... 😆

We're giving them 5 stars! And we'll tell you why:
— They have one of the most innovative and plastic-free to-go cups we've seen in Omaha. No plastic liner. No film. The cap is built into the cup itself, so there's no separate lid to toss.
— Then there's the drink list. Probably the most nature-friendly wine and tea selection in the city, with every producer vetted for their commitment to protecting the environment and wildlife.
— From day one of opening, they've been running compost, glass recycling, and conventional recycling. Hard to think of another spot in recent memory that had this many eco-practices locked in before opening.
— And those bins behind the fence? Immaculate! Barely any landfill, a whole LOT of wine bottles being recycled, and plenty of compostable material that'll eventually go back out to feed local gardens and landscaping projects.

Curbside Compost Club is a weekly food-scrap and yard-waste pickup service. Year-round! We bring you a cart, you fill it with food-scraps, coffee grounds, meat, dairy, all of it. We pick it up every week and haul it away to get turned into compost instead of sitting in a landfill.
