We will always be there for our students and community, through good times and bad. Last spring, we surveyed nearly 500 MHCC students and found that:
- 12% were homeless due to the pandemic
- 42% were food insecure in the prior 30 days
- 35% had lost their job and 28% saw reduced hours and/or pay
- 47% said they could no longer concentrate on their education
We worked quickly to extend emergency funds and resources to our students and are striving to continue to provide these supports to those in need. Students who need food or housing resources, personal counseling, emergency funds or anything else can fill out a Student Support Services Request form by going to mhcc.edu and clicking the gray bar at the top of the page. We are here for you and you are not in this alone!
