Gresham Relay For Life

This Relay season is underway. If you aren't signed up yet we miss seeing you. For those who are signed up we are excited to see you. Please make sure you get your team members to register. Our next team meeting is on March27, 2012 at 7pm at Papa's Pizza on 162nd and Stark.

We would like to give you the dates to the future meetings in hopes that we will see you at them:
April 24th
May 22nd
June 26th
July 24th which is Bank Night

Did you know that Women 40 and over should get yearly mammograms? Regular mammography can detect breast cancer early and save lives. Also Luminaria candles allow us to honor/memorialize those touched by cancer. Think about it Whydo you Relay???

Come join us and play Cancer Lingo Bingo for $1 a card. Funds raised will be going towards the winners fundraising goal. Bring lots of $$$$$ to play.

We have a few fundraisers that we have put together for you as a committee.
The first one being is our monthly Papa's Pizza Fundraisers on the day of our team meetings. Make sure your team is there to be eligible for the drawing for the money raised on those nights. The more team members in attendance the greater your chance to win. Two other fundraisers we have going on right now is selling chocolate ribbons and candy bars. If you would like to sell them please bring $33 for the box of candy bars and then sell them for $2 a piece or bring $21.60 for the box of chocolate ribbons and then sell them for $2 apiece. You will earn $.90 percandy bar and $1.40 per ribbon when selling them.

Here are some prizes to look forward to having a chance to win if you are at the meeting:

- Relay for Life Blanket

Some fundraising ideas that you can do on your own if you would like is to get a 20oz water bottle and fill it up with dimes which will equal out to be $100. You could also fill old film canisters with quarters and get about $7.50.

Please bring decorations with you to decorate your Team Table Tent. A team table tentwill be provided for you to decorate so that we can have a visual to show recognition. When you come to each meeting you will get a gold seal and then you will be able to display it at you campsite at the event.
