Adiska Family Dental—Accepting New Patients 07/09/2026

Adiska Family Dental is family owned and operated. We value our patient relationships providing gentle, compassionate dental care. We have modern equipment you would expect from a big city dentist, with personalized care and convenience of your hometown.

We are proud to be a part of this community and we make it a point to be active in the lives of those that support us. We actively support local schools, churches, and community events throughout the year.

Adiska Family Dental is very proud to offer FREE custom-fit athletic mouthguards to students within our local school district region. We always encourage the use of custom-fit athletic mouthguards for any contact sport, such as football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and wrestling. Off-the-rack "boil-and-bite" mouthguards offer little protection from a sports injury, causing your child to be at risk for permanent damage or a costly repair.

Market Bucks return to support Stockbridge families and local vendors

by Kristen Stromski

Market Bucks are back, and with them, we bring even more opportunities this market season!

Thanks to the generous support of the 5 Healthy Towns Foundation and the Tri-County Office on Aging, Stockbridge community members have the exciting opportunity to receive Market Bucks at no cost to them for food purchases at the Open Air Market every Friday from 4-7 p.m. (The market is closed on holiday weekends.)

What are Market Bucks? Upon approval, these small-but-mighty certificates are given to qualifying families to spend at our market on any food items or plants that grow food. This program helps to bridge the gap for local families experiencing food insecurity by providing access to healthy food and produce for those in need.

To apply, applications can be picked up and returned at the market during open hours.

Positive Parenting: Transform a craft into a STEAM project with your child 07/06/2026

by Kelsey Rasmussen

“I want to help,” is a child’s invitation to be included in the meaningful work around him. Sometimes this means we won’t get loaded into the car on time, so we decide to do the task ourselves and skip the teachable moment. Other times, we slow down and let our child(ren) engage in learning by doing the real work of life. It benefits a child to develop skills and, once he’s mastered those skills and can genuinely help set the table or peel the potatoes, it benefits parents, too.

Having taught science and engineering in secondary public school for 15 years, I’ve learned that much of what people do in everyday life is engineering. You’re “engineering” whenever you identify a problem (we need to water the plants while we’re Up North), come up with a solution (let’s put the sprinkler on a timer), and repeat the solution until it works (you know it never works the first time!).
