Ashoka is the best good girl of all the good girls! She’s is definitely over the ā€˜mom’ thing and won’t let her puppies nurse anymore. The pups are doing fine on wet food so she gets to just be Ashoka now. She still wants to be in our laps but will go off and relax on her own now. Her favorite spot is belly up directly under the ceiling fan. She is an incredibly awkward cuddler but she tries hard. Her soft teddy bear fur and giant floppy ears makes it extra fun to snuggle with her. She LOVES people and seems take it or leave it with the other dogs. She will chew through a rope toy in seconds and will do just about anything for a cookie. It seems like her emotional roller coaster ride is coming to an end and ahe is settling down. She is a super sweet lovey dovey girl and would be great for someone who wants an extra large lap dog.
She will likely need a home that has someone around most of the time so she isn’t home alone for several hours every day. We suspect there might be some separation anxiety and given her love for destroying toys in the blink of an eye...that can easily turn into destroying shoes and furniture with a dog like her. But we shall see what happens when all the mommy hormones taper off.

Pupdate: The Oodles of Doodles Litter are 4.5 weeks old and getting huge! Their sizes and weights are starting to spread out now. A few are quite hefty, a few are medium-hefty, and Violet is still our tiny little sugar baby. They are getting easier to tell apart, some taking after their mama and some taking more after Beethoven in size and fur texture. They are on wet food now and enjoy getting it everywhere! Puppy wipes and potty pads are a staple right now. They have been upgraded from the whelping pen to the puppy villa. We will likely have to make it bigger as these fluff nuggets are growing fast!

We will be accepting applications for them at 6 weeks old, not before. Please be understanding of our protocols as it’s always in the best interest of the dogs. 😊
