This Needfire song has an interesting backstory. Its release on Christmas Eve 2024 happens to be the 12th wedding anniversary for Roy and his wife. What a nice anniversary gift! Also, the recorder melody was written by Ed four years before he ever heard the song. Finally, a five-year-old Eddie (recorded in 1978, the same year Ed and Roy's wives were born) appears on the song as well.
