Each year when the weather gets warmer, Kevin Feeny starts to hear from customers hungry for his restaurant’s signature dish.

We talked with Feeny about the in 2025.

“We start getting calls in April, asking when the tomato pies will be out,” says the co-owner and managing partner of Kitchen Sync, which opened its doors in 2016 on Laurens Road in Greenville. “There’s definitely a clamor in the run-up to June, and some disappointment after the season. It is probably the most talked-about dish that we have.”
