Congratulations to COREY COLEMAN (South Central ‘26) on his recent commitment to Mid-Atlantic Christian University ⚾️. You see Corey in here many, many evenings throughout the year, banging baseballs with his teammates and I was very excited when he shared the news with us that he’d get to keep playing after high school…with that smile he always brings in😊. Corey had 20 hits & a .351 OBP this past year, while patrolling CF for the Falcons. He’s a fun young man that we have just gotten to know over the last couple of years, but we are excited to get to continue to follow him. Congratulations to Corey and his family.

Congratulations to PARKER SIMO (JH Rose ‘27) on his commitment earlier this week to ECU⚾️! The Junior left-handed pitcher went 7-1 this past year with 55Ks in 47IP. He performed extremely well for Region 1 in the Body Armor State Games last month & has continued elevating his performance since. We have had a front-row seat to Parker pitching since 9 years old & have enjoyed these last few weeks, getting to discuss him with coaches. Former longtime MLB manager & now motivational speaker Clint Hurdle often uses the term “Guts & Nuts” to describe a player’s internal attributes…and that is certainly what Parker pitches with. He performs well outside of his God-given frame. He is well-aware that NOW the real work begins and we’re excited to see it & be part of it. Congratulations to Parker & the Simo family!
