Larsdalen Lavender
Look, the recipie is right on the label, I can do this just fine.
When I was a kid, jam pectin came in a box like Jello, right? And it was just one box mixed with a certain amount of fruit and sugar. This method allows me to use all the fruit I have without waste.

A lady stopped by my booth last year and mentioned that her daughter was starting a clean cleaning products company. She asked for name suggestions, and I came up with "Essentially Clean" to kind of show that she's using essential oils in her products without limiting herself to one kind. (Her mom was thinking "Clean Orange" or something similar.)
She never came back to the market, so I don't know what happened.
Similarly, I've been talking to a woman selling crystal balls and obelisk and similar. Her company name? Elaine's Crystals and Beautiful Rocks. Very specific. Very descriptive. Not a lot of room to expand if she'd like to start making suncatchers.
On to the point: when I started this project 4 years ago, everything was all lavender, all the time. But I have a short attention span, and I started incorporating other scents into my products. Now I have Vanilla tallow balm, Geranium and Rose shower steamers, Citrus diffusers and Eucalyptus beard balm. I still have everything in lavender, but I also have most things in other scents too.
I found this photo I took this morning to be extra funny, as my new sign of tallow scents is blocking the word "Lavender" on my big sign.
I'm never going to stop being "The Lavender Lady," because "Hey Shower Steamer Lady" just doesn't roll off the tongue.
For the balm, I used 6 cups of tallow, a cup of olive oil, 3 TBSP of essential oil, and a toothpick of dye. And I got this beautiful, soft pink.
For the shower steamers, I used 2 cups of citric acid, 4 cups of baking soda, 3 TBSP of oil, 1/3 cup witch hazel, and a toothpick of dye.
I gently rubbed the dye into the dry ingredients, and it looked pretty good. Then I added the essential oils and it looked fine. Then I added the witch hazel and suddenly we have neon pink shower steamers.
There's not enough dye in there to hurt a bathtub, but it's really bright compared to my other shower steamers.
