You brush your teeth 2xs a day to get rid of food, plaque, etc. Your pool needs brushed 1xs a week for the same reasons.
Direction: Always brush from the shallow end toward the deep end, and from the surface down toward the floor.
• Benefit: This knocks loose algae and "biofilm" that isn't visible yet, suspending it in the water so the filter or vacuum can catch it.
