4 months today this happened. The bones are taking their time healing. I think partly because of the displacement was still great even after rod was inserted. I have been in physical therapy for 10 weeks already and will probably go till December. I went from wheelchair to walker and now cane. I can walk without it but balance is off so therapist says use it. 😁
