As summer is starting up and a lot of hauling is going on, we want our customers, family, and friends to be well informed.

Before you hit the road, take a couple minutes to check these 5 things on your trailer:

✔ Tires: Check tire pressure and look for dry rot or uneven wear
✔ Lights: Make sure brake lights, turn signals, and running lights are working
✔ Coupler: Double check that the trailer is fully secured to the hitch
✔ Safety chains: Properly crossed and attached
✔ Load securement: Straps, chains, and equipment should all be tight and balanced

A quick walk-around can help prevent breakdowns, unsafe towing, and costly problems down the road.
