This Automotive Service Professionals Week, we're celebrating the skilled professionals who keep our vehicles and our communities moving forward. 🔧🚗

At NWTC, students turn passion into practice through hands-on lab training and Auto Club experiences that build real, industry-ready skills. Through our City Stadium Automotive® partnership, high school students can accelerate their future by earning a technical diploma before graduation.

Together, these opportunities help students become career-ready while strengthening the workforce Northeast Wisconsin relies on.

For Kim Rudness, her nursing pin represents more than an achievement — it’s a tribute to her son, Greyson, and what brought her to NWTC.

Kim and her husband, Adam, lost Greyson to Tay-Sachs, an ultra-rare neurological disease, just before his third birthday.

Shortly after, Kim felt a pull toward the field that had been such a significant part of their lives. She enrolled at NWTC to pursue a nursing degree, determined to turn her experience into a way that supports others navigating complex care and difficult moments.

Now, as an NWTC nursing graduate, Kim is ready to step into the profession with both skill and purpose.

She is one of many NWTC students who bring purpose into the classroom and graduate ready to make a meaningful impact — turning life experiences into careers that serve others.
