Not everyone loves being in front of a camera… and that’s exactly why sessions like this matter.

A lot of seniors come in worried they’ll feel awkward, won’t know what to do, or that their photos won’t really feel like them.

That’s normal.

Our job isn’t to force anything. It’s to create an experience where you can relax into it, get a little guidance when you need it, and end up with images that feel natural and real.

“We just received the huge order of our daughter’s Senior photos from Distinction! It’s once in a lifetime and we looked for a photographer who could do it all. We found them! 

They helped pick out outfits and colors and planned the locations, had a GREAT hair and makeup artist available and on site for touch ups! And I loved spending time with her! We used our car and our dog in 2 locations! 

I was so worried I’d want to kick our daughter the whole time to smile because, you know, TEENAGER! Was worried we’d get the fake smile in all of them! But I never saw it once! 

Mathew is extremely personable and we all liked him! I didn’t have to prompt our kid once! Mathew handled it! He even had our daughter pick out her favorite for the yearbook and will have it all cropped and ready to the correct size. 

The edits were FANTASTIC! She had a huge blemish on top of her nose and I actually took her to the dermatologist that morning praying they could dissolve it. They tried but it was too late. 

Sara and Mathew did such an extraordinary job, we forgot it was ever there! The portraits we ordered are considered family heirlooms and I’m sure will be even more appreciated when she’s our age. You can’t go back!
