Last night, the Mequon Police Department received a report of suspicious activity after a resident’s trail (deer) camera captured three individuals wearing face masks walking through a wooded area on the northwest side of Mequon. The footage was shared by a local hunter who after receiving the video, promptly alerted police.

While these burglaries are not occurring in one specific area, the individuals seen on camera are believed to be connected to the recent incidents where suspects have been entering neighborhoods through wooded areas. Officers responded and conducted a track through the woods, but the individuals were not located.

We ask residents to remain vigilant — lock your doors, secure vehicles, and promptly report any suspicious activity or persons to the Mequon Police Department.
