🎞️ Some of the best feedback is hearing that our work feels exactly how the project was imagined from the very beginning.

When Door County Coffee came to us to refresh their brand video, the goal was bigger than showcasing great coffee. It was about capturing the feeling behind the brand and introducing more people to their mail order coffee program.

Over the course of one shoot day, we filmed at both a family home and the cafe, following the journey from coffee delivery to that first morning sip. We wanted to capture the little moments that make coffee part of everyday life. The result was four videos, plus vertical versions of each, focused on the brand story, subscription program, quality, and cafe experience.

One of our favorite parts of the project came after the final delivery, when Allie DeGuelle, Brand Manager for Door County Coffee, shared this: “There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a creative vision go from an idea in your head to a finished project that feels exactly how you imagined it.”

As a small business ourselves, we understand the trust that comes with representing a family business and bringing not just the visual side of a brand to life, but the story behind it. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help bring Door County Coffee’s story to life!

Most people don’t realize they have a choice, so we built a commercial around it 🎬

We’ve worked with the team for years, creating advertising photography, headshots, and informational video content. This time around, we partnered with their marketing team to create an ad campaign to launch their new surgery center in Appleton. The message behind it all was simple: patients have a choice. That idea became the backbone of the entire commercial.

A few strategy meetings turned into storyboards, talent casting, location scouting, and two full shoot days at , , and inside the surgery center itself. We had to suit up and strip the gear list down to the bare minimum to film in the surgical suite.

The end result was two 30-second commercials and a 15-second mash-up that showcase the personalized care and advanced technology this center is known for. Getting to be part of the creative process from the first conversations all the way through production made this one especially rewarding to work on!

Location scouting isn’t cute, it’s calculated 📍

This was our first shoot with a new client in Door County, so we weren’t about to wing it. They gave us the vibe and told us to run with it, which was cool, but that meant every location had to earn its spot!

We stayed close to Sturgeon Bay, stacking spots that could give us multiple looks, then mapped the sun to plan when each scene would actually work. We saved the woods for midday light, and flipped shorelines to make one stretch of beach feel like multiple locations. All of it was built around how the light actually moves.

Locations matter, but timing is everything!
