I grew up in a nice neighborhood, my parents worked their butts off to provide for my siblings and I. BUT, I went to a school in a VERY well off neighborhood (think doctors, lawyers, and politicians kids), so to the little kid in me...I thought we were broke.

Watching my parents work hard to afford the latest portable CD player along with an accompanying CD and then watching my friends get cars for Christmas - it had me thinking. WOW!! I have to work just as hard or harder than my parents.

So I put my head done and pushed and shoved, and climbed, and exhausted the hell out of myself. Not fun! I spent more time focused on just my career rather than my friends and family. i thought I was doing the right thing.
