It's been ages since I've posted anything due to a strange series of events which led to brain surgery to relieve a subdural hematoma. But here I am in Zuni, NM with cousin Craig, recuperating, getting stronger, and painting. This is a small piece with no name, as yet. Enjoy.

Another painting done while I was in Las Vegas. I had read about a pastel technique that was new to me and decided to try it. For it, you work on 300 lb Lanaquarelle watercolor paper rather than sanded paper. You lay on a wash indicating some color suggestions or their compliments, let it dry over night, and then start working with the pastel. What do you think?

The Mountain Sings is a 12 x 12 oil. The mountain form was done with Golden Bead Gel and I'm having such fun using purples, reds, and oranges. $100. Enjoy.
