Hello Foothill Family,

The blessing of the Lord is abundant for those who love him. Our brother Chris Jackson Jr., who has been fighting for his life for 12 days, has come out of his coma and is communicating with family. Praise God for his faithfulness.

Tonight is Building on the Rock! I want to encourage you all to make this a priority. If you haven't registered, it's not too late to show up at 6pm tonight and they will make accommodations for you.

This Sunday, we will resume our study through the book of Acts. In Acts 10, it says that Cornelius was a devout man who feared God with his whole household. This is a powerful statement. How do we influence and lead others in our devotion to God? We will be discussing this on Sunday.

Hello Foothill Family,

It was great to hear from everybody on the mission team this past Sunday. We will bounce off of that conversation last week, and I will share some things with you that are near and dear to my heart.

In the meantime, let's consider the following scripture.
2 Peter 1
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What a painful conclusion that would be for me to draw about myself. Am I fruitful in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior? This powerful passage contains a lot of food for thought. Let me know your thoughts.
