Maybe the last post for the day.... Maybe not 😂

Google Photos has been digging up some ancient history today. Apparently, I've been doing this long enough that some of these pictures are from before phones had cameras. 😳

A few of these photos also prove there was a time when my Uncle Sam beard required a little... "creative enhancement." White shoe polish on the chin was apparently a perfectly acceptable substitute for facial hair. 😂

Somewhere in this collection is a baby I'm holding. Turns out he was mine. Today, he's working an event of his own while I'm still out here doing what I've loved doing for nearly 25 years.

Not a bad way to spend America's 250th birthday.

If you're celebrating at the Ga***rd Texan today, come say hello! I'll be there as Uncle Sam from 3:00–6:00 PM, still making memories, still telling bad jokes, and thankfully no longer relying on shoe polish to grow a beard.

Throwback to about 20 years ago…
Two generations: me and RJ (now somehow 20½ years old 🤯). And my buddy Todd Haberkorn fresh out of SMU, and still blissfully unaware he was about to become that voice everyone recognizes.

RJ grew up.
Todd got famous.
I stayed tall.

Honestly, that part checks out.
