A branded work ‘fit!
This is one of my work “uniforms” that I revisit time and time again…wide leg trousers with a stretch blazer. On this particular day I went with my company’s logo on a tank and comfy sneaks, plus silver jewelry. As a busy makeup artist for the last 30+ years, I need work wear that’s easy to throw on and easy to move in but still looks put together, and this no-fail outfit is exactly that. Win!🙌🏻

Conferences aren’t just about sessions and social events…they’re about making connections!
I just got back from speaking at in LA last week and I happened to to catch a great social media panel featuring a few faves ( , , and ), plus a 4th panelist… . How have our paths not crossed before?! She’s a total firecracker and I’m here for it! 🧨
Shafonne is the force behind and , and I just loved her energy…I was nodding in agreement to all of her comments. We connected afterward and instantly clicked like we’d known each other for years…you know, when you think “she’s my kind of people!🙌🏻”
Getting to meet incredible industry leaders and make connections like this? Yep, totally worth it!

Last night I had the incredible honor of presenting one of my dearest friends with the Hall of Fame Award! is an insanely talented photographer, an industry leader, and a loyal friend. Tracy and I have worked together for many years (SO many stories to share!), and we’ve also served on boards within and most recently, . She volunteers, donates, and assists all over DFW, and with multiple organizations…the sign of a true leader. She’s someone I truly treasure, and I know many of you do as well. I did have to edit this down so this reel wasn’t too long , but I left in the most important words Tracy had to share ….that building real relationships within this industry is what leads to success, longevity, and personal fulfillment…it’s truly what it’s all about! 🙌🏻😊
