A long time ago I started numbering the pieces I make. This one is Redwood Urn #557. The wood is all redwood burl! This stuff is getting very hard to find. Very little cutting of redwood is occurring now. The wood that I use has been salvaged from stumps and chunks left over from old loffing or land clearing operations.
